Lisa attended the Art Institute of Philadlephia where she studied Commercial Art.  Later she attended ST Joseph's College, West Hartford, CT, earning her BFA in Psychology with a minor in Art Therapy.  She graduated Magnum Cum Laude and an Psi Chi Honorary Member.  She received her Master's of Science. She worked for 14 years in residential treatment facilities, with a sub-acute hospital for youth and adolescents, as a director and supervisor for adjunctive therapies.  She has taught art classes for over 20 years.  She has worked as a primary therapist for pediatrics and adolescents in a short term psychiatric hospital.  As an Registered Art Therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor she has a successful private practice serving as young as 4 years of age to seniors.   Lisa published her first book, "Laughter, Wisdom and Innocence, Surprising quotes from children".
